LOSE WEIGHT RUNNING A 5K

Everyone is always looking for ways to lose weight, but its always the motivation part that gets people stuck. First you need to understand your body and its needs and wants, you have manage your daily calorie consumption in a way where you are burning more calories than you are consuming.

Rule of thumb and research indicates that burning 3500 calories equates to 1 pound burned or .45kilogram. If you run a 5K everyday at a moderate time, you can expect to lose 1 pound every 10 days, this is only if you are no involved in any other activity outside of running.

Try to take on the challenge and run a 5K every day, in a month time you are estimated to lose nearly 5 pounds. More weight can be lost if dietary plan is put in place, look to limit your carbohydrates and stay further away from dairy.

LOSING SLOWLY

According to experts, losing 1–2 pounds (0.45–0.9 kg) per week is a healthy and safe rate, while losing more than this is considered too fast. However, you may lose more than that during your first week of an exercise or diet plan.
